Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SyncStream ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SyncStream provides AI-assisted video translation, dubbing, voice cloning, and lip-sync services ("Translation Services"). The Service operates on a pre-paid balance/wallet model. Features and pricing may change at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised access.

4. Wallet & Payments

You pre-load a balance to your account wallet. Translation jobs deduct from this balance based on video duration and chosen service tier. Wallet top-ups are processed via Stripe and are non-refundable except where required by law. Charges for failed jobs are automatically refunded to your wallet. Unused balance does not expire.

5. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Upload content you do not own or have rights to translate.
• Produce content that violates applicable laws, including copyright, defamation, or hate speech laws.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Create synthetic media intended to mislead or defraud (deepfakes used for fraud).

6. Intellectual Property

You retain full ownership of content you upload and the translated output we deliver to you. You grant SyncStream a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content solely to provide the Translation Services. SyncStream retains ownership of its platform, software, and AI models.

7. AI-Assisted Output

All output from SyncStream is AI-assisted. We do not guarantee perfect accuracy of translations, voice cloning, or lip-sync. Review all output before professional or public use. SyncStream is not liable for errors in AI-generated content.

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance, technical failures, or force majeure events may cause downtime. We will provide reasonable notice for planned maintenance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncStream is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service, including loss of data or revenue. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding a claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your uploaded files are deleted within 30 days. Any remaining wallet balance is forfeited unless otherwise required by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of the jurisdiction where SyncStream is registered, unless otherwise required by local consumer protection law.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify registered users of material changes via email.
